🕯️ A Walk for Awareness. A Call for Safer Streets.

Tomorrow, we invite our community to come together in remembrance of the lives tragically lost in pedestrian incidents along the MLK corridor and to stand together in calling for safer streets.

📅 Saturday, August 29 ⏰ 10:00 AM 📍 Beginning at the parking lot of the Looking Glass project, north of Greenwood Cemetery 🌦️ Weather permitting

We will begin with a moment of silence, followed by remarks from family, friends and members of our community.

Together, we will then walk along MLK, cross at 11th Avenue and return along the opposite side of the street.

Every person walking represents something bigger: a neighbor, a family, a business owner, a child and a community that deserves to move safely along our streets.

Please join us as we remember those we have lost, raise awareness about the pedestrian tragedies along the MLK corridor and call for meaningful improvements that make our streets safer for everyone.
