MLK Great Pumpkin Fall Festival
The MLK Business District, with The Looking Glass Initiative and Healthy Roots, invites you to come be a part of an afternoon full of fall fun for local families. this community-minded event will feature local food, shops, businesses and nonprofit organizations and an introduction to the healthy roots garden. Come together with neighbors and be a part this momentous event committed to reconnecting communities.
Join us on October 24 from 3–6 PM for an afternoon filled with fall fun, food, local businesses, and community connections. The festivities will take place on the Looking GIass Initiative Community Lot and at Healthy Roots Garden directly across the street, with SPPD assisting with safe crossing for families between both locations.
Bring the kiddos dressed in their favorite costumes for trick-or-treating, kids’ activities, and plenty of candy! Families can also enjoy a pumpkin patch, live entertainment, local food trucks, makers and vendors, plus connect with area nonprofits and organizations to learn more about the resources and exciting things happening in our community.
Come hungry, come in costume, support local, and enjoy an afternoon of fall fun with the MLK community. 
Admission is FREE and everyone is welcome!

Our Mission
Our aim is to support local business and neighborhoods through beautification, advocacy and social events. Founded in 1994, the MLK Business District is a growing association of business owners dedicated to supporting each other, expanding our businesses, and strengthening our presence in the community. The District runs from 26th Avenue South to 34th Avenue North.
